Gingerbread House Workshops

It's sticky fingers, candy and fun for the whole family!
Experience the thrill of making a mess in someone else's kitchen! Kids and parents will love covering themselves in sugar icing while creating a candy-covered holiday tradition with real, soft gingerbread made right here in Austin! Sign up for a workshop, buy a take-home kit in the Store or book a private Gingerbread House making party. Registration now open.
Fees
$28/$33 Member/Non-Member per gingerbread house
(3 people per house; includes Museum admission)
$23 for a take-home kit, available in the Museum store
(everything you need to build a house except the sugar and water icing)
Private Parties
Schedule a unique, hands-on holiday party with us today! Your guests will love decorating a gingerbread house to take home, and we’ll deal with the clean up! A minimum of 16 gingerbread houses is required for a private party.

Visit the Museum office, or call 512-472-2499 x 201 M-F, 9am-5pm with payment in full.
Cancellations must be made within 10 business days for a workshop, or 15 business days for a private party to receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee.
Teeter-tots Workshops:
For children ages 5 and under. Teeter-tots workshop participants have the option of purchasing a pre-built gingerbread house. Little ones can spend all their time decorating their house with candy!
