Description: Share your artistic and technical talents with the Austin Children’s Museum! The Marketing & Communications Department is seeking experienced and student photographers to help expand our photo library. We need help capturing moments of fun, inspiration, family learning and behind the scenes work across our Museum’s programs, exhibits and events both on and off-site. Photographer will also be responsible for obtaining photo releases for shots taken. Must provide own photo equipment and have ability to deliver final digital files back to ACM. 

Training: General volunteer orientation. Briefing session with Marketing & Communications Manager and Graphic Designer.

Commitment: Varies. Museum operating hours and special events.

How to apply:  Submit photo portfolio or samples along with application. All new volunteers will need to complete an application, background check and orientation. The application is available at the link below. Orientations are held every first Wednesday of the month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Museum.  If you plan to attend, please contact Jessica Wilson, Volunteer Coordinator at 512-472-2499 x210 or jwilson@austinkids.org so you can be added to the roster. Dinner is served for all orientations so RSVP is required.
