(You can register up to 6 classes or 150 students for the same tour time.)
* Every effort will be made to provide a bilingual guide for your tour; however, we cannot guarantee their availability. Please plan to bring an interpreter if needed for your ESL class.
Ethnicity Data
The funders that support our school tour program ask that we collect ethnicity data for those we serve. Total number of students needs to match total number of students listed above. Thank you.
Preferred Tour Date/Time
(Tours can be scheduled Tuesday-Friday. However, tours are not available on the first Tuesday of the month.)
Pricing and Policies
The price of a tour is $4.25 per student. Chaperones and teachers are free. The Museum offers a limited number of scholarships to Title 1 schools. The total amount due for your tour will be emailed to you with your date assignment.
New Cancellation/Payment Policy: Full payment is due 30 days prior to your visit. All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges. Groups with fewer students than reserved will receive general admission tickets to the Austin Children's Museum (one ticket for each student that is paid for but is NOT attending). In the event that schools scheduling under our sponsored Title 1 admission program cancel a tour, there is no guarantee that the Museum will be able to reschedule your visit under the Title 1 admission program (in which case your school could participate at the regular admission rate if there is space available). If cancellation of a tour is necessary, please email the Reservations Coordinator at least 3 weeks in advance of the scheduled visit. Expect a confirmation email for the cancellation.
