Math leaps off the page and takes shape in ways both beautiful and practical to build intuitive
foundations for geometry and math reasoning. Students will hone spatial skills with tactile
explorations of 2- and 3-D shapes and create patterns that echo the beauty and symmetry
of math in the natural world. Hands-on experiences weave concepts such as reflection, scale,
volume, tessellation and fractal patterns into a familiar household setting, emphasizing that
math is everywhere, including in their own homes and backyards.
