Description: The Junior Volunteer Program is designed to provide students ages 12-17 with significant experiences that build leadership and team work skills. Students will be working both independently, with peers and with Museum staff to facilitate learning for Museum visitors. This opportunity is available in the summertime only. 

Duties:  Work closely with Museum educators to provide spontaneous and planned educational experiences for children and families visiting the Museum. Tasks include: Greeting visitors, checking in-members, assisting with the presentation of story time, assisting with set up and presentation of science experiments, craft activities and demonstrations, demonstrating how to use exhibits for museum visitors, opening and managing the slide and other tasks as needed.
