Job Description:

Responsibilities:
• Develop content for print and online community calendars and update on a regular basis (ie., Austin Chronicle, Austin Family, KUT, News 8, etc.)
• Draft press releases, PSAs and web copy for Museum events and offerings
• Update and maintain media contact list
• Track and archive media clips
• Contribute to other communications projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• Strong writing, communication and time management skills (please provide writing samples with resume)
• Organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter and multi-tasker
• Proficiency using computers, internet and MS Office Suite
• Junior of Senior working towards a degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field.
