Capital Gifts
Capital gifts support bricks and mortar type projects such as new building facilities, renovation, permanent exhibit development and IT infrastructure. The Museum engaged in its first capital campaign in 1997 raising 4.8 million dollars to move from the 5th street location to the Second and Colorado location.
Endowment Gifts
Endowments provide institutional security for generations to come by creating a predictable source of income to fulfill our mission each year, positioning the Museum to weather fluctuations in annual giving typically driven by external factors beyond our control such as natural disasters and economic business cycles. Additionally, endowment support provides resources for planning strategic growth initiatives and responding to unique opportunities that greatly benefit our community.
Planned Gifts
Include the Austin Children’s Museum in your financial plans. Bequests, gifts of real estate, gifts of appreciated securities, and charitable trusts and annuities can benefit Central Texas children and families for generations to come.
