Math Fun Try-It
Do your girls think math is fun? Well, let us show them how fun it can be! Girls will try a variety of neat activities to practice math concepts and skills. They’ll be having so much fun, it might change their view of math forever!

First, go on a science and technology hunt through the Museum, then grab a graduated cylinder and make two different kinds of sloppy, gloppy (but scientific) goo!

Building Art Try-It
Take a look at some famous bridges from around the world, then test the strength of different shapes, and construct your own bridge using simple materials!

Admission: $7 per girl, accompanying adults are free. Includes Museum admission and 2-4 guided try-it activities. To guarantee Museum free play time, plan to attend on a Saturday. Try-Its held on weekdays do not offer free play time unless you come early.
If you can get together at least 20 girls, you can schedule a private try-it! Call for private dates: 472-2499, ext. 205.

Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of fees and confirmation of space available. The easiest way to guarantee spots is to call and pay with a credit card and have the girls pay you back. If you mail in a check, the event may be full by the time your check arrives. To receive a refund, ANY AND ALL cancellations (even if it’s only one girl) must be made 10 or more business days prior to the event. This means that NO refunds or switches will be allowed for girls who do not show up on the day of the event. All refunds will be charged a $10 processing fee. Switches are allowed, but the whole troop must switch, and it must be ten or more business days prior to the event. Badges or patches are not provided, though we do offer Museum logo patches for sale for $2.95 each in the gift shop.
