2/1/2008 - New Director of Development at Austin Children's Museum

Last week, the Austin Children’s Museum welcomed Lisa Lee as its new Director of Development.

Austin, Texas (February 1, 2008) — Last week, the Austin Children’s Museum welcomed Lisa Lee as its new Director of Development. Lee brings over 10 years of fundraising experience to the role, where she will be responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and oversight of all fundraising and donor relations activities.

In her time in the development arena, Lee has served as the Director of Development and Communications at SafePlace, held several key Development Director positions at St. Edward’s University, and worked in the Development Office at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.

Lee holds an MBA from St. Edward’s University, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential, and a BA from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to volunteering with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (including chairing the 2004 Philanthropy Day Luncheon), Lee serves on the volunteer board of the Austin Museum of Digital Art.
