ACM hosts Cyberchase Sunday, a workshop where children can learn through fun, math activities led by students from UT's Cockrell School of Engineering.
Cyberchase Sundays at Austin Children’s Museum
Who: Austin Children’s Museum, with support from IBM; students from The University of Texas’s Cockrell School of Engineering; children and adults
What: Join students from UT’s Cockrell School of Engineering for some fun, hands-on, math activities based on the Museum’s feature exhibit, Cyberchase – The Chase Is On! Children and adults can work together to construct a paper bridge and test its strength above the raging river or create cool, curved designs using only straight lines. Children can also use time estimation skills to win in a race against the stopwatch. Activities are appropriate for elementary and pre-school children, who can continue math fun in the Cyberchase exhibit.
When: Sundays, October 25 and November 15 and 22 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Cost: Included with Museum admission
$6.50 for adults and children over 2 years old
$4.50 for children between the ages of 12 to 23 months
Free for children under 12 mos.
Free admission on Sundays from 4:00 – 5:00p.m.
